This notice explains how Creuware Translate uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies, in line with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the EU ePrivacy Directive. Strictly necessary storage is used without consent; anything else is used only if you consent.

1. Strictly necessary (no consent required)
- Authentication session tokens — keep you signed in and secure your session.
- Security and abuse-prevention tokens — protect against cross-site request forgery.
- Load-balancing and service availability identifiers.
- Your cookie consent choice itself, so we do not ask on every visit.
2. Functional / preference storage
These are stored in your browser's local storage rather than transmitted to us, and are removed when you clear site data.
- Language selection, used to display the interface in your chosen language.
- Interface preferences such as records per page, editor choice, sidebar and column state, stored locally and namespaced to your user.
3. Analytics and marketing
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are set only after you consent, and are removed if you withdraw consent. They tell us which pages and features are used, in aggregate. We do not use advertising cookies. Withdrawing consent takes effect immediately.

5. Managing cookies
Use the cookie preferences dialog above to change categories at any time. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage from their privacy settings. Blocking strictly necessary items will prevent you from signing in and using the Service.
